What is Female Entrepreneur Musician?
This podcast helps musicians focus on the business side of their music careers. Bree talks about creating great music, connecting with audiences, and growing musicians’ businesses. The show is 90% interviews with successful female Indie artists. She discusses the experiences and stories of their music journey that inspire these artists trying to make a real career and income. She also discusses the tools and tactics these artists use for booking, social media, fan engagement, and opening up new streams of income. The other 10% of the show is Bree teaching on topics that she thinks are valuable of that she gets questions on from her coaching students.
What’s in Your Podcast Recording Kit?
Bree is a vocalist and has recorded whole albums in my home studio, so she was well prepared for podcasting. She uses a Rhode condenser microphone with a pop screen connected to a Focusrite mixing box. She records using Pamela and edits with Cakewalk Sonar.

Bree suggests new podcasters start with “pre-launch” episodes. It gets people excited for what is coming and allowed Bree to get her feed in all the right places before doing the big launch.
