The ultimate guide to the parties of Podcast Movement 2018
Our favourite time of the year is almost upon us here at Podcast Websites!
No, I’m not talking about counting down til Christmas already – I’m talking about the holy grail of podcast conferences, Podcast Movement 2018!
Each day is absolutely jam-packed FULL of awesome talks, workshops, and activities, and I won’t lie, come 5.30pm you will be in need of a double shot of espresso – though at that time, I prefer mine in a Martini, thanks!
Though tired you may be, don’t you dare head back to that hotel for an early night when there is the all-important socialising and networking to do!
Let’s face it, Podcast Movement tickets are an investment – in yourself AND your podcast, so you need to make the most of what the conference has to offer.
The most meaningful connections often come from the most relaxed conversations and this year the social calendar is every bit as busy and exciting as the conference one.
So join us as we wind down after the long days with a drink and a meet-up (or two…or three)!

How else shall I make the most of Podcast Movement 2018?
Now, socialising aside, we know that you’ve invested in a Podcast Movement ticket for a reason, so we’ve also considered how else you can make the most of your time there.
Plan your strategy
There are lots of different reasons that people attend conferences so it’s vital that you consider what YOU want to get out of it.
Make an action plan of talks that you want to see, people you want to meet and the connections you want to make.
Remember to not just listen in talks and activities – add value to conversations and don’t make everything all about you and what you do.
Action what you learn
One of the biggest mistakes people make is spending money on amazing talks and conferences that they come out of feeling SUPER engaged.
Yet, they then go home, carry on going about their daily lives and DON’T ACTION WHAT THEY LEARNED.
Do not, I repeat, do not fall into that trap!
The best way to avoid it is to book in time when you get back from Podcast Movement to action what you’ve learned – be that a Trello board, adding things to your calendar or getting started on planning a new project. Whatever it is, just make sure you take action and get it done!
